Being connected to the body on a deep level leads to a feeling of joy and relaxation. It also trains and stretches certain muscles and tendons in the body which are often hard to access with other methods. Yoga is a soft sport accessible to all ages. Under the guidance of a trained professional, the slow, controlled movements of yoga minimize the risk of injury.
It can be beneficial for all kinds of people who do sports. Even people who one might not typically think of as yogis (e.g. bodybuilders) can make use of this gentle approach.
Everybody has heard of yoga but many people haven’t yet tried it. We’ll create an environment where people will feel encouraged to do just that.
